3 Ways God Will Reveal The One To You

3 ways God will reveal the one to you

Have you ever asked yourself this question, “how do I know the one whom God has chosen for me”, and yet without an answer to your question? Well! Do not search any further, for in this article, I’ll take you through a detailed explanation of the topic.

God can be trusted, likewise His word. He has a good plan for you, which also includes having a good wife or husband (Jeremiah 29: 11). You can’t trust God and be put to shame. Hence, we’ll be looking at 3 ways God will reveal “the one”, your life partner, to you.

Ways God Will Reveal The One You Need In Your Life To You

1. Through Intimacy and Prayer

Intimacy talks about you building a personal relationship with God first and that can be achieved by receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. When you confess Him as Lord, He becomes responsible for your life as your master.

While prayer is a way of aligning yourself with God’s will for your life. When you pray to God, everything about you and God’s intention for your life and relationship becomes clearer to you.

Jeremiah 33:3 AMPC, Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).

2. Through His Spirit within you.

After building an intimate relationship with God by believing in Jesus Christ; His Son whom He has sent to the world to die for sins, you received the indwelling Spirit. It is through this Spirit that God will communicate to you and reveal things to you as His child.

1 Corinthians 2:10 says, but God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the profound things of God.

3. Through His word.

God reveals the person you are to marry through your studying of His word. Because the word of God serves as a standard for relationships and also gives direction to finding the right one. Psalms 119:105, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Does God put someone on your mind?

Yes, God has a way of communicating His plans to us as His children, and that’s through His Spirit resident within us. Generally, when you pray, the Holy Spirit can drop someone in your mind and bring them to your remembrance. It can either be for you to intercede for them to avert an evil coming their way. The Holy Spirit always intercedes for another person through us as believers (Romans 8:26-27).

However, it can be in the form of a divine connection; that is God, showing you someone with whom you’re going to enter a relationship together and establish His plans for your life.

So, when something like that happens to you, the best thing for you to do is to pray about it. And as you get on with prayers, you’ll get to know the reason you’re praying for them. Therefore, whenever God puts someone in your mind, do not shove it off, but continue to dig deep in prayers to know more in detail.

When God puts someone in your heart, what should you do?

The best response to give to whatever and whoever God places in your heart is to PRAY about it. Prayer must always be your primary reaction.

You mustn’t depend on your human feeling or knowledge to run the things of God. For your canal minds cannot comprehend fully spiritual concepts nor the things that God has in store for you; hence, you must align with it using the spiritual method of prayer.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:14 that, Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. It is God who put that person in your heart, you mustn’t leave God out of the equation when it comes to dealing with that same person.

Allow God to be the one who leads and directs you on how you should run your relationship with that person. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, Whether you eat or drink, live your life in a way that glorifies and honors God. Everything you do together must be all to His glory.

Why does God place a person in your life?

It is God’s will for you to be in a relationship with another person. When God created man, He didn’t create him to live isolated, but rather, he placed him in a garden and made a help meet for him.

In Genesis 2: 18, God said, it’s not good for a man to be alone. This verse made us know the intent of God for us in a relationship.

It also serves as a prototype for every other relationship. However, God who created man saw the need for him to have someone around. When a man is isolated in his thoughts, dealings and affairs, it leaves room for the devil to creep in, whispering lies and negativity in his mind.

When that happens, it becomes difficult to deal with alone.

Nevertheless, when you have people around you, they can help you correct those bad thoughts and fill your mind with positivity and encourage you to live above such depressing times. God wants you to be in a relationship.

Conclusion

According to a quote from sharing Faith, it says, “there are no coincidences when it comes to the people God placed and planned to be in our lives.” God wishes for you to be in a relationship that works. He wants you to win in a relationship and build a healthy home. Therefore, never despise the person that God has placed in your life.
